The Centre for the Living Arts presents the current exhibition at Space 301, SoCo3, which explores social commentary through work of three artists: Dona Lief, Juan Carlos Quintana and Lee Renninger.
On view in the Main Gallery is the work of Lief and Quintana whose work , on loan from Taylor Bercier Fine Art in New Orleans, Louisiana was curated by Mark Bercier. In the installation, “Cry Baby Cry”, Lief addresses the obsession with celebrity in our society while Quintana is more overtly political in nature in “The Denizens”.
